After they lost to yesterday\u2019s loss to Windsor Stars 2:1 (1:0) tonight Serbian White Eagles recorded third consecutive loss and left the field with their heads down in a loss to SC Waterloo, 4-0 (3-0). While yesterday the Eagles played so well, in an equal game Windsor Stars were luckier team by scoring at the last few minutes of the game; tonight they totally disappointed. The home team was much better and deserved the win, with a high a score. It is obvious that Eagles are in crisis, and are currently below the line that leads into the playoffs. In the year of transition where the backbone of the team is young players oscillations are expected in the game, but the crisis is apparent, not only with results but also with the way games are played. Midfield is definitely not clicking and cheap goals are allowed. However, we should be optimistic and expect that the younger players learn from past games. Sometimes defeats are good if they draw lessons. After a dense schedule Eagles have a good ten days for analysis and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start of the game passed in unconnected passing, evaluation of opponents strength and no opportunities. It seemed that Eagles couldn\u2019t connect the lines; our midfield is not at its best. In 19th minute midfield lost the ball, allowing SC Waterloo open run to our penalty area, Zelenbaba took a shot, the ball deflected from Jelic, but only to find Hasecic who scored for 1:0. The same player had a great opportunity in 22nd minute when all alone took the shot straight into Marojevi\u0107. In 28th minute long ball was kicked 30 meters from our net where Molder missed the ball as well as Jelic allowing free gift for Vukovic who from 12 meters chipped it over Marojevi\u0107 for 2-0. In 39.minutu Waterloo attacked on the right hand where Ubiparipovic freed himself from Novais and Jelic, came to about 6-7 meters from our goal and scored for 3:0. We should note that this was Jelic\u2019s debut for the Eagles who came from Borac Cacak, definatelly not a debut he was hoping for. In 44th minute Vukovic took an excellent free kick and Marojevi\u0107 had an even better save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as the second half started quick counterattack allowed Vukovic to increases the lead to 4:0. Our players looked helpless, dazed, totally confused. Although they had a big lead and the game was settled some Waterloo players played very dirty and rough, from which Zelenbaba and Vukovic were the worst, a coach Lazo D\u017eepina tolerated and allowed his players to do so. It is interesting that Waterloo team is made up of players from our area of Balkan region. Our team had a good chance in 88th minute after Rajovi\u0107 took a good shot over the crossbar. Following this in 90th minute after good passing between Negojevi\u0107 and Rajovi\u0107, Anastasov took a good kick, but goalkeeper saved it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest opportunity came Rajovi\u0107 in injury time, when Rajovic passed the keeper, but he went too far to the side kicked the ball but goalie had enough time to stop the ball and keep the shout out. Serbian White Eagles play the next game on August 3, 2012 against with Niagara United at our home field Sentenial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After they lost to Windsor yesterday with the Stars 2:1 (1:0) Serbian White Eagles tonight and for the third time in a row left the pitch with his head down, lost to SC Waterloo, 4-0 (3-0). While yesterday the Eagles played so well as in an equal game Windsor Stars were happier at the finish won tonight are totally disappointed. The home team was much better, a fully deserved win, with a little bit too high a score. Apparently the Eagles in crisis, and are currently below the line that leads into the playoffs. In the year of transition where the mainstay of the young players can expect any oscillations in the game, but the crisis is apparent, not only results but also the game.
