Serbian White Eagles won their game tonight easy, effortlessly, with half throttle against St.Catharines Roma Wolves 2-0 (1-0). So far Eagles won two games in a row and a one tie, which is pleasing. Tonight, they weren’t impressive they played with as much energy as they needed to secure the victory. Similar to previous game Eagles had problem with finishing their opportunities and that is something they still have to work and improve upon.

Knowing that they are playing against a young and inexperienced opponent, Eagles opened the game without energy. They had the ball in their possession, but played without energy and sufficient motivation. Unlike them opposing team played with heart and energy, giving their best at all times. The first serious chance was seen by West in 13th minute when he passed the defender on the left wing, and centered for Dimitrov who took a 12 meter low shot but wasn’t precise enough. Dimitrov was our most dangerous player. Dimitrov as many times in this game made a run in 15th minute on the right side centered the ball to Rajović who took 15 meter shot but shot was too weak. In 21st minute agile Bailey intercepted the ball thirty meters from the opponent’s goal, passed the ball to Rajović on the edge of the penalty area who then took a precise shot with a left foot and hits the lower left corner of the goal and the Eagles are up 1-0!
In 25th minute West from the good position on the left side takes a shot but ball ended up over the crossbar. In 43rd minute Dimitrov passed the ball to West, which outruns two players and have the opportunity to pass to at least two in a better position, he decides to take a shot however the shot was not strong enough. In added time we didn’t capitalize on perhaps the greatest opportunity in the first part. Kirilov passed to Bailey in the middle, runs into space, getting the beautiful pass back from Bailey and passing it back to all alone Rajović who took five-meter shot over the crossbar.
Right at the beginning of the second half opponent’s defender made a crucial mistake, Dimitrov took the ball, run fast with it to the penalty box, took the close-up shot from the right side, the goalkeeper rebounded the ball right to the foot of West and 2:0! In 50th minute Anastasov carried the ball through the center for the fast break, Vecchi literally took him down from behind and fully deserved to get sent off. Guests in these moments become more aggressive, started running and were fighting for every ball. They had a counter-attack in 54th minute when Campbell tried to lob our goalie from the side; however Đurković made a confident save. This was followed with good penetration and 25 meter kick in the 61st minute by Bailey however ball went over the bar. Novais took a good close-up shot after Viciknez’s pass, but the defending goalkeeper saved it. Guests had a new opportunity in 69th minute, when cross from the right side was missed by Đurković and luckily Cambell’s header was blocked by Molder in front of goal.
Njest passed the ball to into open field for Vukoja in 72nd minute, but at the decisive moment goalkeeper was just a little bit faster.
In 80th minute Bailey was in a good situation but he is too hesitant the ball came to Vukoja who took 17 meter shot but it went to wide. Luka Maric finds himself alone in front of a goalkeeper in 85th minute, dribbles to the left, goes further to the side and the keeper takes the ball away from him. By the way Maric gets a yellow card. In 90th minute Viciknez took a 16 metre free kick and hit the wall; Đurković once again intervened in 92.minutu with a good save and that was it.
We witnessed mediocre game, in which the Eagles played as much as they needed for the win.
