Serbian White Eagles, after an exhausting game under extremely difficult conditions, won over SC Toronto by 1:0, with a golden goal in the 103rd minute by Richard West. West took a pass from Zoran Rajovic to drive the ball inside the post to the left of SC Toronto goalkeeper Adrian Ibanez and Serbian Eagles held on to the mild upset which saw the home side second in the CSL First Division standing, dropping to third at the end of the season, while Serbian Eagles ended sixth in the table to become a late championship contender.
The semi-final game with the Serbian White Eagles vs Toronto Croatia is being played Sunday at 8pm at Centennial Stadium.
