In the first game of this weekend soccer matinee Canadian Soccer League,White Eagles shared points with the great rival, the Scarborough FC ,last year champion.
The first half passed in an equally futile game,at the middle of the field, and Scarborough FC had the only one chance in this part of the game.
The second half started wildly, Scarborough FC scored twice through Mussa and Neven Radakovic and the game story seemed to be written.
However, goals by Adrian Cann at the 89th minute and Dusan Kovacevic at 92nd minute changed everything.
We must mention that the White Eagles missed the penalty shot after the foul on captain Stajic.
At 83rd minute excellent Scarborough FC golie Bismark Koff Oppong denied shot by Bojan Zoranovic.
Nevertheless,White Eagles are making progress, in every way every day.
Captain Marko Stajic: “We opened the game very badly, two quick goals at the beginning of the second half woke us up and we played at our level for the last half hour. We look forward to the next game, we need to win and win only.”
