HIGH FIVE: EAGLES BEAT HAMILTON 5-2

Our Serbian White Eagles achieved a huge 5-2 win against Hamilton City yesterday.

Petar Planic opened the scoring for our team at the 16th minute mark and Srdjan Simovic made it 2-0 at 39 minutes. Elton Mario Nyunah beat White Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Gosciniak to reduce the lead to 2-1 at 55 minutes. Marko Pavicevic struck for Serbian White Eagles from the penalty spot, the second in the game, for a 3-1 lead at 60 minutes. Vladimir Strizovic made it 4-1 at 70 minutes, Nikita Markovic scored for Hamilton at the 80th minute mark and midfielder Nikola Timotijevic completed the scoring for Serbian White Eagles at the 85th minute mark for a 5-2 final score at the whistle. Timotijevic now leads the league in scoring with thirteen goals.

The win keeps our team in third place in the standings with twenty-five points (tied with second place Toronto Falcons and league-leading Scarborough who is first due to goal differential).

Our Serbian White Eagles play their next game on Saturday September 28 (2:00 PM) at Esther Shiner Stadium in North York against Unity FC.
